SMX Toronto takes pitches in two rounds: for session ideas and speaking pitches. The speaker pitch form on this page allows you participate in the second round of pitching for SMX Toronto, the speaking pitch round.
To increase the odds of being selected, be sure to have read the SMX Toronto 2011 agenda. Understand what the sessions are about. Ensure that your pitch is on target to the session. Please also be specific about what you intend to cover. Speaker in generalities decrease the odds that you will be selected.
Also, while the form below may allow you to pitch for every session, be selective. Consider pitching for only up to three sessions in all. If you pitch more thanone session, indicate your priority (this would be my top choice, my second choice, etc.).
If you are accepted to speak, you’ll receive a pass to the entire conference. Travel and accommodation are not provided. We do try to notify everyone using this form if they have been accepted or rejected as a speaker, usually six-weeks prior to when the event actually happens.
We’re now asking that submissions come directly from the person making the pitch, in their name, with their email address. If you’re a PR person or firm, you may fill out the form on their behalf, as long as they have reviewed the submission. We have this policy because we’ve found that the best pitches come when speakers themselves make a submission.
Please do not call with your pitch. We will accept proposals through this form only. We are only accepting session pitches for SMX Toronto – April 28-29.
SMX Toronto is co-located with the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit, April 28-29
